Simon Halabi is considered to be a reclusive real estate billionaire. Simon Halabi inherited his fortune. Now aged in his late 50’s, he owns the Mentmore Towers located in the United Kingdom. He was once owner of a one third stake in the “Shard of Glass” building at London Bridge but he sold his part last year. Halabi also owns a vineyard in France. As of 2008 he was ranked
at number 260 on the billionaires list. Simon owns the Navy and Military Club in Piccadilly. He also owns the In and Out Club. Simon Halabi was born in Syria and started working in real estate in the 1980’s. He began building a portfolio and acquiring office buildings in the UK, now he owns prime real estate in that area. Although he did lose some money on certain investments in London since the economy cooled he is still considered one the people where the term “super rich” is attached.
