Business/career

The self-made success billionaire, Hopper has earned great accolades by making his presence felt in real estate world single handedly and with great enthusiasm. At the initial stage, this business baron had attachments with Industry, Hospital and Health care.

Hopper Developments is a privately owned land development company based at Orewa, just north of Auckland. The company was formed in 1953 and takes pride as being New Zealand’s most experienced marine and coastal resort Development Company.

Hopper has signed a partnership with Meridian Energy Subsidiary Right House, which assesses the energy efficiency of homes. Of the 800 homes to be built in the development, six sections so far have been earmarked for a Right House review of electricity usage, heating, cooling and insulation. Hopper believes the assessment aims to keep household costs down while being environmentally friendly.

A coastal development like Whitianga Waterways, which seems to be every developer’s dream, is on the list of Hopper’s dream project.  A 230 parcel of coastal land within easy driving distance of Auckland, Waikato and Bay of Plenty has been selected for the development process.
